It could be possible. Imagine ordering pizza, then waiting for a drone arrive, opening a window and collecting the pizza from the drone. Ford Motor Company has demonstrated this concept. A self-driving vehicle would transport food, and then deploy or meet a drone to deliver the food to the customer. This is not only possible for food, but also small goods and medicine.
